Landis Valley Museum is a living museum collecting and preserving memorabilia evocative of Pennsylvania's German community circa 1740 - 1940. Recreating an actual German village with various homes, businesses, and even a school, the museum guides visitors through many areas of German life, from schooling to farming to craft-making and cooking. The village lies several miles north of downtown, next to the Olde Hickory Golf Course.
